About the Program

Through our 12-month management trainee (MT) programme, Smark Global identifies and grooms its future leaders. Trainees gain broad knowledge of the IT field through extensive on-the-job development and training. You will have opportunities to be actively involved in our projects and develop invaluable on-hand skills and experience for a long-term career in the IT industry.  We adopt 5-day work and offer attractive remuneration package including basic salary, incentive scheme and other employee benefits.


What to Expect

In the 12-month period, be prepared to accept assignments in any roles directed. You will attach to the following aspects to acquire and enrich skills and knowledge:


Project Management

  • How to determine project requirements through meetings with clients
  • How to effectively monitor project progress and status
  • How to communicate with clients, programmers and designers to consolidate business and technical requirements



  • How to provide professional and friendly customer service via events
  • How to develop and refine positioning and messaging that differentiates brands and products on various promotional channels
  • How to collaborate with different teams to develop lead generation strategies for products and services


Digital Marketing

  • How to brainstorm and develop digital marketing strategies to increase customer acquisition
  • How to manage EDM, SEO, Google AdWords, Facebook Marketing, Marketing Automation and other digital marketing tools of brands and services to achieve goals
  • How to analyze, optimize and report performance of websites and digital marketing campaigns



  • How to promote company service through face-to-face and over-the-phone presentations to potential clients
  • How to maintain and develop a potential customer database
  • How to prepare tender documentations and official quotations


Career orientation review will be conducted throughout the programme to map trainees' strengths with corporate manning need. The review serves as a basis for planning appropriate job attachment for individual trainee after the MT programme. Depending on individual performance, development opportunities and further advancement will be available for trainees to progress further along their career ladder.


Key Responsibilities

  • Accept assignments in any roles directed and provide all-rounded support to different teams on all business activities
  • Attend meetings with Business Development Director and/or Project Manager
  • Assist in handling business correspondences, reports, presentations, proposals and other professional documents
  • Assist in organizing and holding company events, including seminars and workshops
  • Assist in composing marketing collaterals, such as promotional flyers, website content and advertising copy-text
  • Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns based on predefined goals
  • Participate in internal meetings to Input ideas for project vision, strategies, solutions and business development


Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

  • Recent graduate from a recognized university in any disciplines
  • Less than 3-year work experience in a full-time capacity
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Fluent in Mandarin will be an advantage
  • A strong team-player, flexible, self-motivated and performance-oriented
  • Right of abode in Hong Kong SAR
  • Fresh graduates are welcomed. Academic background and/or work experience related to Marketing / Information Technology / Business Administration fields will be considered as an added advantage
